From your Chapter Directors, Doug & Nan Johnson:
Well guys we only have six more weeks till spring, hope Mr. Groundhog is right. Just want to give Paul and Mary Lavely a big thanks for all they have done for Chapter ‘T' while they were the Chapter Directors, they did a wonderful job and we all say "thanks".
We are now turning a new page for Chapter ‘T' with new staff; hoping to be able to caring out the motto of GWRRA "Friends for Fun, Safety, & Knowledge."
Chapter ‘T' has a lot going on this year with the District Rally and All Chapters. We also have a lot of rides going on for the New Year. We hope everyone can participate in the events and go on rides when possible we will be sure to have a great time.
All members if you would like to write or say or sale something in the newsletter please pass it on to LuAnn Paugh we would love to hear from other members also. We will be doing a monthly newsletter starting in March and ending in October. Nov/Dec will be combined and also Jan/Feb will also be combined. If you do not receive a letter for some reason please let us know we will be sure to get you a copy.
I talked to Norm Gray the week of January 28, Norm and Suzi are having a great time in Florida riding their Gold Wing. Mary Lavely also has left me a message saying Paul and she are leaving for Florida to enjoy some time in the sunny state.
I will be handing out the new ride schedule at the Feb. meeting please pay close attention to some of the events some will be picnics and others we will need to know ahead of time if you will be attending a certain ride due to making the reservations as necessary. If you have any questions about any of the rides please let us know.
We will be having our "Sweetheart Dinner" at the Chuckwagon in Somerset on February 16 we will let you know more details at the meeting, Snooks is getting some games together, I am sure we will have a lot of fun, so please try to come.

Andi and I are proud to be the new assistant directors for the next three years. We are looking forward to an exciting time with the Somerset Chapter T. We hope to continue the camaraderie this group of Gold Wing riders share with each other. We also would like to thank the past officers and their staff for the hard work and dedication they have put into this group. They are the reason we are involved with this group after all. We also would like to say thank you to all the new people who stepped up and took new coordinator positions. This will surely be a learning experience so just bear with us.
We had our first staff meeting a couple of weeks ago and we got a lot accomplished. Nan and Doug will be making some announcements at this coming monthly meeting so try to be there. We are looking forward to this coming riding season. There are going to be a lot of great rides scheduled this season. It will be here before you know it.
There is going to be a lot going on this year with all the rallies scheduled this year so everyone should try not to miss any meetings especially this coming one in February.

Hi Everyone!! Well Groundhog Day has come and gone, he saw his shadow so everyone knows what that means. I personally hope we have and early spring. And I saw my first robin today, so I'am going with that thought. I can't wait to get our trike out and go riding. But we have a few weeks yet to go before that can happen. We all had a great riding season last year and a safe one too, lets hope this years is just has good. For those of you that weren't at the Christmas party the winners in the working class for the most miles ridden were 1st.-Rick & Betty Nicklow 2nd.-Gene & Cathy Stahl 3rd- Joel & Sharon Shaffer. In the retired Class 1st Mike & MaryAnn Scheve 2nd- Jim & Pat May 3rd- Leonard & Snook Lottig. Anyone wishing to join in on the mileage please let me know what you mileage is on your bike before the riding season begins. It actually runs from Nov.-Nov. of every year. Everyone be careful and be safe.
